Our story

We are Josephine and Tijn, two young entrepreneurs living together and working on Bonaire since 2025. Alongside our jobs as a nurse and at a popular resort on the island, we started Bonaire Beach Essentials to make beach days easier, more comfortable, and more sustainable — for both tourists and locals.

We believe in traveling light, renting smart, and enjoying the island to the fullest. When we're not working, you'll often find us at one of Bonaire's beaches with friends, a full cooler, and a BBQ, enjoying everything island life has to offer. That carefree beach experience is exactly what we hope to share with you!
